The Porter Family Trust was created in December, 1979, when the four Porter sisters,
Mary Porter Buddington, Jane Porter Ryder, Louise Porter Bahnson, and Suzanne
Porter Wilkins, all signed a Partnership Agreement to allow their summer home,
which was inherited from their mother, Alice Hastings Porter, to be passed down
to future generations for their own use and enjoyment. In 1993 they named
from among their children four "successor trustees" to continue the operation
and management of the home for the benefit of all of the Porter descendants.
The home is currently under the supervision of this Board of Trustees,
with input from all family members. This web site was established in 2006
to provide access to information for family members and for guests using the house. |
